Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why haven’t I received my files after purchase?

Please note that files are not sent until PayPal confirms the seller received their funds.  Some payment methods can take time to process on PayPal’s side.

For example, if an E-Check was used for your purchase, unfortunately PayPal needs 3-6 business days (weekends excluded) to clear E-Checks on their side.  We’re sorry, unfortunately TheBeat.Market has no control over E-Check payment timelines as that is dependent on the customer’s payment method and PayPal.  If by any chance you see the funds deducted from your payment method and you still do not have your files, this likely indicates that the payment is still processing on PayPal’s side and the seller has not yet received their funds for the transaction.

If you used an E-Check, you should receive a “Pending” email outlining this information.  Please check your spam filter if you do not see it in your primary inbox.  Please be advised that once the E-Check clears, PayPal will transfer the funds to the seller for the transaction, and then the files will then be sent to you once PayPal confirms the payment was successful.

For more information regarding PayPal’s E-Check process, please feel free to visit their site.

Refund Policy

TheBeat.Market cannot, nor will not be responsible for any refunds for any licensing or sales purchases.  TheBeat.Market has a “no refund” policy.  All purchases, promo purchases, or any other payments made directly to TheBeat.Market are considered final.  As a result, please review your purchase transaction prior to making any payment to TheBeat.Market since no refund will be provided.

Additionally, TheBeat.Market will only offer reimbursements if there is an internal error which resulted in any unintentional charges to a user from TheBeat.Market, or any other unexpected legitimate cases which qualify for reimbursements per our team’s discretion only.  Please note that if we have any reason to believe a user is suspected of fraudulent activity, the user will not receive a reimbursement and their account will be closed without warning or notice, and per our discretion.  Investigations for all applicable reimbursement requests can take up to 14 business days to complete by our team from the date the request was submitted.  If the reimbursement request is found to be legitimate and applicable by our team, the verified amount identified by our team will be reimbursed within 28 business days of the date the reimbursement request was submitted.  By using TheBeat.Market, users agree to all of these terms.

Is there any way to make an exception to your no refund policy?

Unfortunately not, we are not allowed to do refunds for anything sold on TheBeat.Market as that would be unfair to our other users. We don’t do case-by-case exceptions, because this would display favoritism and would be an unethical business practice. Our policies need to remain consistent for all of our users.

How do I dispute a reversed payment?

We provide details that PayPal/Stripe usually require to dispute charge-backs.  For example, we provide the time-stamp and IP Address information confirming if/when the customer downloaded the file(s).  We also provide the customer’s email address and other important transaction details for you to reference to PayPal/Stripe in such cases.

If a customer did a charge-back (reversed payment), you can perform the following steps:

1.  Navigate to the following section of your account Pending/Reserved Transactions

2.  Click on the “View Details” button underneath the transaction in question.

3.  Check to see if the customer downloaded the file(s).  If so, you will see an IP address and time-stamp of when they downloaded the files.

4.  If the customer downloaded the file(s), please send the data to PayPal (or Stripe depending on the payment method) and dispute the charge-back with that service.  This should hopefully help you win the dispute.
